DIVINE DYNASTY is a progressive type who has shown good improvement in each of her efforts to date. She drops to the 1000m for the first time which may suit her well as she showed early gate speed in her last outing over 1200m. It is not a strong field and she can shed her maiden tag. ROCK ON CAPTAIN challenged strongly in a workriders contest last time, but found one too good in the form of African Winter. The blinkers seem to have done the trick. Richard Fourie takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. WHAT A CHERRY is much better than her last start over 1400m. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Her first two career outings over this C&D were encouraging. The blinkers get fitted this afternoon which should keep her mind on the task at hand. SPARKLING CRYSTAL is the stable companion of the third choice and she is an unraced daughter of Duke Of Marmalade. Her mother, Crystal Cavern was a five-time winner from 1200m to 1600m. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her.
